The primary purpose of this position is: To provide emergency police, fire and medical services to the public by answering emergency E-911 calls and responding with appropriate personnel and equipment. The 902d Civil Engineer Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland Air Force Base responds to all emergencies. Provides emergency E-911 call-taking and dispatching services. Performs EMD services to callers with medical emergencies. Maintains maps, checklists and charts, including automated programs. Operates and maintains telephones, automated data processing equipment (ADPE), printers, recorders, facsimile equipment, and other devices installed in the dispatch Center. Prepares and maintains reports and records relating to emergency responses.
