This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), is located in Northern New York, approximately 30 miles from Canada, with the Great Lakes to the west, the Adirondack Mountains to the east, and the St.
Lawrence River and Thousand Islands in between.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a variety of engineer equipment such as pay loaders, tractors, graders, and rollers to perform excavation, back filling, grading, leveling, tamping, and piling to maintain roads, grounds, draining items, signage, fencing and other tasks.
