The primary purpose of the position is to perform nonprofessional architectural and engineering work in functions such as plan development, design, inspections, drafting, and some surveying and equipment/material testing. Monitors and controls segments of project plans and specifications during their planning, programming and design. Maintains surveillance over complex construction projects.Maintains surveillance over landscape service contracts. Creates basic sustainment, repair and maintenance (SRM) project plans and specifications. Completes inspections and analysis of existing horizontal and vertical structures. Develops and prepares engineering plans, drawings and designs using the latest Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) equipment and techniques.
