Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an engineering technician, performing design and construction management duties in support of the military installation and supported customers. Key Responsibilities
Performs cradle-to-grave design and construction project management of multiple assigned projects. Maintains surveillance over construction contractors to ensure overall compliance with contracted specifications, schedules, etc. Coordinates projects with other project managers, engineers or architects, A/E firms, Joint Base Mission Partners and base agencies. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies to ensure programmed development will not prematurely become obsolete.
In conjunction with the primary duty of design and construction project management, on a less frequent basis performs work in the programming/base development, design, and/or operations and maintenance (O&M) functions. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
