You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the Engineering Department of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA.
You will ensure quality and cost effective troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to surface ships as well as train military personnel in preparation for them to return to sea.
No basic education requirements ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The work regularly involves frequent exposure to hazardous conditions such as: high electrical voltages; large rotating machinery elements; electromagnetic radiation from high powered transmitters; nuclear radiation in and around machinery spaces aboard nuclear powered ships; explosive, flammable or incendiary materials, turbines, condensers, etc.
