Job Summary
About the Position: Serves as an Equipment Specialist (Ordnance & Machinery) in an organization that designs, develops, fabricates, tests, supplies, and field supports ordnance, ammunition operations equipment, and Ammunition Peculiar Equipment (APE). This position may be filled at the GS-09 or GS-11 level, depending on experience and/or education.
Key Responsibilities
Provides ammunition/explosive expertise, ammunition handling safety expertise, and equipment fabrication or repair procedure input into the development of equipment for ordnance.
Requirements & Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
