Job Summary

As a Executive Resources Manager at the GS-0201-15, you will be part of Workforce Policy and Innovation, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for operational oversight, technical assistance, and policy guidance on executive resources programs; supports Governmentwide executive personnel and performance management initiatives; analyzes program information and develops recommendations for senior stakeholders; and supervises HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Manages Governmentwide executive resources activities involving allocations, appointments, performance management, awards, and related executive personnel actions. Provides policy and technical guidance to agencies on executive resources requirements; reviews requests and develops recommendations and related correspondence.

Evaluates performance management and awards programs, including appraisal system design, implementation, certification, regulatory compliance and the Presidential Rank Awards. Analyzes executive resources data, policies, and program information and prepares reports, studies, briefings, and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.

Coordinates Governmentwide executive resources initiatives with Federal agencies and oversight organizations and resolves policy, program, and operational issues. Oversees executive resources information systems and processes, including data management, reporting, system enhancements, user testing, and training. Supervises HR professionals by assigning and reviewing work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, developing employees, and recommending personnel actions.
