This position serves as a Facilities Management Specialist for the Department of Justice, Executive Office of United States Trustees (EOUST) Facilities Management Branch Washington, D.C., 20530. This position is delegated the authority to manage and maintain several occupied facilities. The incumbent will serve as the space utilization manager of assigned facilities, automation, and telecommunication administrative operations.

A Facilities Management Specialist at full performance level will perform duties such as but not limited to: Provides authoritative technical, analytical, and management advisory support services ensuring early identification of problems and issues that will not affect the facilities and the resolution going forward.
Analyzes and evaluates user requirements, and develops detailed specifications for design and construction of space, to include physical security, computer and telephone cabling and Design Intent Drawings (DIDs) using electronic computer aided design programs. Performing center-wide functions of safety, security, and facilities management, and other project assignments involving the application and the scope of activities to analyze staff actions.
Collaborates with top management to negotiate, determine, schedule or coordinate supporting services.

The posted pay range is $143913 – $187093/yr.
