At the full performance level (GS-09) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: This position will be responsible for all the FMSS operations, Fleet Management, PMIS support, and associated duties. Maintenance responsibility includes buildings and utilities, roads and trails, campgrounds, historic assets, and interpretive media throughout the park.
Provides technical support for all activities involved in asset management work associated with the Facility Management Software System (FMSS), the Facility Condition Assessment System (FCAS), and the Cost Estimating Software System (CESS), PMIS, and to participate in the formulation and execution of long-range strategies and 5-year plans for facility management for the park. Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on contracts.
Collaborates with park staff in developing facility projects in the Project Management Information System. Coordinates FMSS work orders and estimates for funded Cyclic, Repair/Rehabilitation, and Recreation Fee projects.
