This position is located in the DEA, Intelligence Division, Administrative Section, Budget Unit (NCAB). This position(s) primary purpose is to review and analyze budget planning, financial management, and support programs carried out by the Intelligence Division.
As a Financial Analyst your typical work assignments may include: Serving as a financial analyst, providing budget and financial management assistance regarding NC budget operations, including both formulations and execution. Conducting periodic analytical reviews of current programs to resolve major operational and resource management issues and to gain efficiencies in daily NC operations.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and information networks with state, local entities, and industries. Performing studies, analyses, and evaluations of administrative regulations, procedures and policy directives to determine applicability. Distributing funds to operating officials, reviews expenditures against NC's budget plan, and ensures compliance with financial management regulations
