The Office of Municipal Securities is seeking a Financial Analyst-Municipal Securities. As a Financial Analyst-Municipal Securities, you will join a well-respected team that coordinates the SEC's municipal securities and administers the Commission's rules pertaining to municipal securities brokers and dealers, municipal advisors, investors in municipals securities, and municipal issuers.
In this role as a Financial Analyst - Municipal Securities, you will be responsible for: Serving as a financial analyst providing expert financial analysis for assigned area of responsibility. Drafting and producing research, and briefings based on relevant and insightful data. Performing detailed and data-intensive analyses and research of the municipal securities market in response to complex and difficult questions related to municipal securities. Conducting extensive analyses and reviews of industry, professional, academic information, and data to maintain up-to-date information concerning financial changes within the municipal securities industry. Reviewing policy proposals and making policy recommendations based on research and analysis.
