Job Summary

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, Position Description Number D2513P01 and is part of the 109TH AW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. There are two positions available.

Key Responsibilities

As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST (GS-0501-7/9/11) you will plan, coordinate, and perform comprehensive Accounting and Financial Management analysis, decision support and quality reviews, of base level accounting and financial management programs.

Requirements & Education

Minimum Educational Requirement: Completed undergraduate or graduate education, the awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management.

OR If using only education to qualify for the GS-07 position, 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement master's or equivalent graduate degree. If using only education to qualify for the GS-09 position, must have master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B.

or J.D., in a related field If using only education to qualify for the GS-11 position, must have Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., in a related field OR Combining Education and Experience: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level.

You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond a four year degree in a related field to the position. Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university. Undergraduate Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study. You must provide Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims.

To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
