As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0501-09, you will be responsible to have extensive knowledge of all pay operations that are handled by the Pay and Exam branch. Resolve the most difficult pay problems including extensive research, review, and application of prior pay and tax laws, regulations, and entitlements. Apply pay and tax laws, regulations, directives, and policies to all cases. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with different levels within the State's command and with external agencies, to include Financial Services and National Guard Bureau. Ensure work is processed in accordance with established guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible to assist in the training and development of the Financial Services Technicians assigned to the section. Perform other duties as assigned.
Army National Guard Officers GS-09 Positions Army National Guard Second and First Lieutenants must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree with at least 90 validated credit hours in a specified program. For Captains and above, must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university.Army National Guard Warrant Officers GS-09 Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma. An under-graduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum. Army National Guard Enlisted GS-09 Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma.
