Job Summary

The Office of Support Operations (OSO) Business Management and Continuity Branch is looking for a dynamic professional to enhance its financial management program. The branch ensures the most efficient and effective business practices are followed throughout the organization and serves as a conduit for OSO offices to plan, manage, and execute mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as a Financial Management Specialist, ensuring accurate budget planning, formulation, tracking (controls), and execution to meet organizational objectives. Determines financial management information needs, coordinates with organizational stakeholders, makes recommendations, and develops and monitors financial systems and programs to assist the assigned organization's managers in fulfilling their financial responsibilities.

Analyzes, interprets, compiles, and summarizes the assigned organization's budget and program guidance. Monitors a variety of financial and statistical trends and prepares management financial reports for senior managers to inform them of negative or positive financial trends or conditions portrayed in financial records. Develops and prepares guidance, reports, briefings or analysis in response to requests for budget or financial information.

Interacts and interfaces with programming and budgeting analysts, resource managers, agency professionals in support of budget justification and submission.
