This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial, Financial Management Division. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong research and writing skills and will have experience researching and interpreting policies, laws, and regulations and developing policy directives and instructions.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will be a Financial Policy Specialist. Typical assignments include: Researching and interpreting financial management policies, laws, regulations, directives, and instructions. Developing and writing financial management policies, directives, instructions, and procedures with a high degree of clarity, precision, and technical accuracy.
Implementing and modifying financial management policies, directives, instructions, and procedures. Preparing presentations, reports, and decision papers concerning financial policy matters. Providing administrative and technical guidance to office/Agency personnel, including delivery of training and information briefings. What else do I need to know?
