Job Summary
You will serve as a FINANCIAL SPECIALIST with Office of the Secretary of Interior. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: The incumbent of this position serves as a senior Financial Specialist, utilizing a vast knowledge of accounting and financial management principles and procedures in completing complex assignments. Responsible for managing central and direct billed accounts for the Office of Facilities and Administrative Services.
Share in the formulation and adoption of plans, programs and administrative procedures relating to programs and budgets. Is responsible for the analysis and presentation of program and budget matters. Analyze, interpret, and direct in a timely and efficient manner, changes to financial resources, resulting from Congressional, programmatic, budgetary and management initiatives and directives.
