This is a developmental position; GS 11 target 12 The primary purpose of this position is: as a Financial Specialist, directly responsible for commands funds control, accounting, budget exercises, and financial system activities.

Leads processes with Command resource managers to oversee and conduct timely and accurate receipt, distribution and management of funds.

Key Responsibilities

This is a developmental position; GS 11 target 12. Manages the timely and accurate receipt and distribution of funds. Provides advice and expert level guidance on accounting policies and other related fiscal matters. Responsible for conducting research, analysis and development of courses of action for program and budget formulation, justification and execution issues.

Prepares and presents a variety of statistical reports and briefings covering program development, status of funds, expenses and obligations as required by higher headquarters.
