Job Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center. This position is regular, full time, working 35-40 hours per week. This is a full time position with a full benefits package. Moderate physical effort is required in moving or lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Heavy lifting is sometimes involved. Constantly standing, bending, stooping and reaching. .

Key Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas such as preparing vegetables, salads, desserts and other food items. Basic responsibilities include securing and washing food, peeling, mashing or delivering food to the kitchen for cooking; slicing meats, preparing sandwiches and salads; measuring and mixing ingredients. Follows recipes as directed.

Cleans, scrubs, wipes or washes service equipment such as work tables or refrigerators. Separates food waste and trash.
