About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Altus AFB Club Altus.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Operates limited coffee operation. Prepares a limited variety of hot beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffees, lattes, expresso, hot chocolate, etc. by selecting proper ingredients. Serves cold beverages and food items, such as soda, juice, cookies, muffins, pastries, etc. Receives payment, operates cash register, makes and returns change to patrons. 2. Sets up work area for operation and obtains cash bank.
Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner. Sets up, cleans tables for customers and replenishes condiment items as necessary. Sets up and operates dishwashers, performs preventative maintenance and cleaning. Scrapes, soaks, scours glassware, dishes and utensils are required. Also performs heavy duty cleaning tasks as required such as: coffee machines, ceilings, under and behind equipment, refrigerators, washes floors and walls, sanitizes garbage cans.
May unload stock from delivery trucks. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area. 3. Assists with inventories, identifies items for re-ordering. May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability. 4. Performs other related duties as assigned. CONTROLS OVER WORK: Incumbent is responsible for independently completing work as scheduled after initial oral or written instructions when changes or new assignments are made.
