This position is located in the Dietary Service Branch of Gallup Indian Medical Center, and provides quality food service to patients, families, employees and guests. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Data collection for patients regarding the nutritional support of patients to provide appropriate nutrition. Obtains and maintains accurate data for patient identification cards are completed with appropriate information and instructions for each patient that will receive a meal tray. Provides statistical information on such areas as late trays, patient meals served, modified diet census, etc. Assist in other areas of the kitchen including, but not exclusive to the dish room, catching, tray line loading and late tray set up, attending the cash register when required.
There are no education requirements.
