Job Summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to The Hub at Peterson Space Force Base located in Colorado Springs. This position may require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push pull, and bend for long periods of time.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities: Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators.) Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Washes tables and counters, vacuums, and shampoos carpets. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans.
Sorts, washes, peel and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
