Job Summary
These TEMPORARY and INTERMITTENT positions are located in the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Office of the Executive Director (CA/EX), Department of State. The incumbents will perform duties typically related to a Foreign Affairs Officer, on an intermittent basis, in consulates or embassies throughout the world, serving on an "as needed" basis to fill emergency staffing shortages and to work on special projects and assignments.

Serves as a senior official in U.S. embassies and consulates overseas.
