The position is located in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs , Office of Western Hemisphere Programs (INL/WHP). INL/WHP is responsible for overseeing foreign assistance to develop law enforcement and rule of law institutions, combat illicit trafficking of narcotics, and strengthen citizen security throughout the region.
Serves as the chief action officer in assigned program area/geographic region.
