The position is located in the Office of Economic and Civil Affairs, Bureau of International Organization Affairs (IO/ECA). IO/ECA is responsible for advancing the Department's priorities and goals in multilateral venues including the G7, G20, and multiple United Nations committees and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the coordination and planning of U.S. engagement in key multilateral fora, including the G7, G20, UN Second Committee (Economic and Financial), UN Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian, and Human Rights) and related UN programs.
