Job Summary

The position is located in the Office of the Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The mission of ECA is to assist in the development of friendly, sympathetic, and peaceful relations between the United States and other countries by fostering mutual understanding through international educational and cultural exchange and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Liaises between ECA and regional bureaus (e.g., NEA, EUR, WHA) to ensure that thematic and area-specific diplomatic and cultural priorities are integrated into bureau programming and policy planning.

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
