This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region, Yellowtail Dam, Fort Smith Village, Montana. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: This position is designated as a "Work/Crew Lead" position and provides leadership and provision of technical knowledge, with responsibility for the productivity of a small crew.
Leads a variety of maintenance duties and crafts for industrial facilities and equipment associated with dams, hydroelectric power plants, and related facilities. Performs day-to-day skilled journeyman industrial facility and equipment maintenance work in the craft(s) for which the incumbent is qualified.
Provides short-term planning and coordination of work and resources; relays instructions from the supervisor to the workers; advises on proper work methods; ensures that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available; obtains needed instructions or decisions from the supervisor on work problems; understands and explains standard operating procedures, deadlines, directives, etc.
to workers; checks work in progress, as well as upon completion; ensures that safety and housekeeping rules are followed; and reports status and progress of work to supervisor.
There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.

The posted pay range is $62.23 – $62.23/hr.
