The primary purpose of this position is to install, repair, troubleshoot, modify, overhaul, and maintain various water and fuels systems, controls, and equipment. Provide maintenance, repair and support for systems facilities, real property and real property installed equipment.
Key Responsibilities
As a certified Above Ground Tank Inspector / Underground Storage Tank Operator: Performs preventative maintenance (PM), locates and marks underground utility lines, inspects, installs, repairs, modifies, and tests fuel receiving, dispensing, storage, and fuel distribution facilities, systems, and components. Performs all phases of liquid propane system and component maintenance including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification.
As a certified Water Operator/Back Flow Prevention Tester: Performs PM, locates and marks underground utility lines, inspects and installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains a variety of water utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment. Performs maintenance using hand and power tools, plans and accomplishes work from initial layout to final assembly, and troubleshoots and repairs minor problems in fuel/water system electrical components.
Performs duties in a safe manner, utilizing safety practices and procedures, and complying with established safety rules and regulations
This position is with Air Force Global Strike Command, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $72189 – $84210/yr.
