The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Logistics/Supply Specialist, providing guidance and direction on inventory and control of Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) uniforms, curriculum and equipment.
Additionally, serves as the initial point of contact for coordination with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) on federally mandated uniform and equipment orders.
Coordinates Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) Logistics Activities with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Processes/authorizes AFJROTC unit uniform and equipment purchases for 870+ worldwide units. Manages centralized warehouse stock of AFJROTC Leadership Development Requirements (LDR) equipment. Provides logistical support for AFJROTC unit openings and closures.
