The primary responsibilities of this position involve performing advanced bioinformatics analysis on DNA sequencing data, managing high-quality research data, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve genome editing methods. Bioinformatics Analysis: Analyze human and mammalian DNA sequencing data using advanced computational methods to determine genetic changes in normal and tumor cells before and after genome editing experiments.
Data Management and Visualization: Organize and responsibly store data and metadata according to community best practices, while maintaining accurate electronic records to ensure high-quality, fully supported analysis. Collaboration and Communication: Consult with genome editing stakeholders to improve method quality, and present technical results through official reports, manuscripts, and oral presentations.
This position has an education requirement. Transcripts must be submitted to validate that the education requirement has been met. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted in the application package. An accredited organization must evaluate education completed outside of the U.S.
