You will serve as a GEOPHYSICIST in the HYDROGRAPHIC DEPARTMENT (NP4) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Key Responsibilities
You will serve as a subject matter expert in the fields of geophysics, supporting data collection, data processing, quality control, data archival, product generation and/or product dissemination.
Requirements & Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: BASIC REQUIREMENTS Degree: that included at least 30 semester hours in mathematics (including calculus) and the physical sciences (geophysics, physics, engineering, geology, astronomy, meteorology, electronics, etc.).
or Combination of education and experience -- courses as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
This position is with United States Fleet Forces Command, Department of the Navy.
