Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Global Affairs, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Health Attache-Mexico, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Serving as the focal point at the U.S. Embassy for health cooperation and coordinates HHS programs and USG bilateral public health activities with the host government and other U.S. agencies. Representing HHS and U.S. Government interests in high-level engagements with senior host-country officials, U.S.
Embassy leadership, other USG agencies, and international organizations on public health and health policy matters. Providing advice to the U.S. Ambassador, Embassy officials, HHS leadership, and other officials on public health, health policy, emerging health issues, and threats affecting host-country and U.S. Government interests.
Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with senior host-government officials, international organizations, NGOs, foundations, foreign assistance programs, and other stakeholders to advance HHS and U.S. Government health objectives and priorities.
