Job Summary

Note: There is no pay associated with this position. This position serves as Without Compensation Research Assistant within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The VA Research Program strives to promote Veteran-centered care to improve patient experiences and outcomes across VA healthcare and community settings, and to advance value-driven care by providing Veterans the highest quality care at the lowest financial burden.

Major Duties

Duties includes but not limited to: Assisting with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)/neuroscience/AI related research projects Biomedical Engineering task including the development of a tablet application (APP design & development, machine learning libraries) Data analysis Contribute to presentations and grant submissions and research paper/posters. Provide operational support and coordination for the implementation of VA research and quality improvement projects as directed Handles project questions and problem independently in coordination with the PI. Manages timelines and deliverables for successful completion of the projects Writes research study policies, guidelines and procedures, and other documents, facilitating the compliance with all regulatory and administrative project requirements. Work Schedule: Intermittent

Education
