Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a(n) Health Scientist, you will: Provide leadership and direction for office activities and systematic reviews to improve public health programs and policies. Ensure Community Guide products meet high scientific standards through consultation and leadership at all stages of the systematic review process. Lead and coordinate systematic reviews supporting evidence-based recommendations for population health interventions.
Develop scientific findings and recommendations for presentations, conferences, and peer-reviewed publications. Apply scientific research results to evaluate intervention effectiveness and translate evidence into recommendations.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
