Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Health Scientist (Informatics), you will: Assess, design, test, implement, and evaluate health information technology and systems supporting public health programs, including data management, exchange, interoperability, and system improvement.
Provide technical consultation and analytical support on complex health informatics issues; conduct research, evaluate emerging technologies, develop recommendations, and communicate findings to stakeholders and senior leadership. Plan and manage health informatics projects and work activities, establish priorities and schedules, provide technical direction to staff and teams, evaluate performance, and support workforce development and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
