Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Health Scientist (Suicide Prevention), you will: Provide subject matter expertise and initiate highly interdisciplinary research on suicide, suicide-related risk and protective factors, and community-based prevention strategies. Inform prevention activities by analyzing complex data from diverse sources, using appropriate quantitative and/or qualitative methods.
Prepare scientific and other articles and technical reports for publication about the results and implications of scientific investigations of injury and suicide prevention.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
