The position is located at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA ACC within Credentialing. The incumbent is responsible for collecting relevant data and making decisions to ensure that qualified healthcare professionals provide appropriate care in the appropriate settings. Please be advised that this position is currently subject to an OPM consistency review, which may result in a change in grade.
If the review results in a reduction in grade, you could be eligible for grade and/or pay retention.
Ensures accurate provider data is entered into and maintained in the VetPro computer program Provides guidance and instruction to hospital staff in completing the required documentation of establishing privileges for LIPs and required qualification standards for non-LIPs.
Assures application packages and other documents meet technical requirements per specialty of provider and assures application folder and database account (VetPro or other internal databases and spreadsheets) meet technical requirements. Establishes and maintains a variety of files and records pertaining to the C&P process. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-to 4:00pm Telework: Ad-hoc only; eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
