The Primary Purpose of the Position: To serve as the Chief, Outpatient Operations overseeing the Tyler, Plano, Polk, Grand Prairie outpatient clinics and five contract clinics to include planning, organizing, contracting, directing, coordinating, evaluating, on-boarding and improving administrative and supporting medical operations for Veterans' care and treatment. Location negotiable within VA North Texas Healthcare System (Dallas, Tyler, Fort Worth, Garland, Bonham).
Duties include but are not limited to: Plans, directs, coordinates and manages all current and future contract clinic operations.
Exercise supervisory personnel management and contract management responsibilities Review current and proposed policy, operations and procedures for the contract clinic program Formulates and executes the Health Care Center budget Organizes and establishes program evaluation activities Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with local community organizations, volunteer groups, Inter-Service, local, state, and national agencies; private and government accreditation agencies; and universities Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
