The position is responsible for continuous monitoring of patients' cardiac rhythms at a central telemetry station and providing clinical and administrative support. Tasks include observing and recording ECG rhythms, performing phlebotomy, providing direct patient care such as vital signs, assisting with ADLs, and ensuring proper telemetry equipment function.
The role requires knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias, telemetry equipment, and the ability to perform patient care duties.
