This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Works under general supervison of Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Supervisor. Assignments are received in the form of oral instructions or written work orders. Applies approved trade practices and techniques.

Removes, disassembles, repairs and overhauls diesel marine engines, winches, shafts, propellers, etc.
