The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a team lead and establish deadlines on projects and work to be accomplished, and independently carry out day-to-day functions, to include precedent setting cases, highly controversial actions, unique situations and establish new procedures for new programs.
Provides technical support and assistance in processing military personnel actions. As a Senior Technician of the Section: plans work to be accomplished; interpret policies and procedures and establishes priorities. Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the office.
Interviews personnel and obtain additional information from previously completed files and records to make initial determination of eligibility of the individual for the requested action based upon technical knowledge and applicable regulations.
