As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (CLASSIFICATION) at the GS-0201-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include: The incumbent of this position serves as the HR Specialist (Classification) SME and is responsible for planning, executing goals to accomplish position management and classification services in order to meet the needs of the Agency. Identifies and proposes solutions to significant DTRA HR and Classification/Position Management issues or problems, and performs major projects and studies to develop new concepts and innovative approaches. Provides expert advice and guidance to the servicing teams and spots trends and identifies/implements appropriate interventions. Serves as a technical authority on difficult and complex issues advising other experts on how best to resolve issues and interpret guidance applying an understanding of the DoD positions. Develops and provides/oversees training for the office staff in the areas of classification and position management.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
