This position is in the Office of Finance and Administration, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer, Workforce Learning, Performance, and Benefits Division, Benefits Branch. About this organization: OFA This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).
You will: Provide advisory and consultative services involving the full spectrum of retirement and federal employee benefits to a variety of customers. Serve as the spokesperson on all matters related to policy compliance and retirement processing procedures and practices within the Office of Chief Human Capital Operations and serviced program offices.
Serve as technical advisor to Human Resources Specialists on issues in the areas of retirements, benefits, and benefits processing. Lead and/or participate on projects which contribute to innovation, standardization, and streamlining of human resources services agency-wide. Develop and conduct training on federal Human Resources benefits, including pre-retirement, retirement, health and life insurance programs, and the Thrift Savings Plan.

NOTE: If you are an EPA employee who currently works at a remote work location (i.e., full-time telework), your approval for remote work does not transfer to this position, subject to Section 501 of the Rehabilitation Act.
