Key Responsibilities

The Associate Chief Counsel (Finance & Management (F&M)) supports the administrative, financial, and managerial programs of the Office of Chief Counsel, and provides advice to the Chief Counsel and Deputy Chief Counsel on all management matters for the organization nationwide. F&M also has field responsibility for all administrative functions and personnel across the country.

The Human Resources Specialist (HR Development) is responsible for planning, developing, administering, supporting, and evaluating Counsel-wide legal, technical, and specialty training programs. This position is located in the Training and Communications Branch, Talent Management Division, Associate Chief Counsel (F&M).

The Training and Communications Branch performs two vital functions for the Office: the design and delivery of high-quality training, and the facilitation of essential communication. Each of these functions serves our mission to enhance employee efficiency, effectiveness, and engagement.

As a Human Resources Specialist (HR Development), you may be responsible in any of the following areas: Training Programs and Event Logistics Coordinates all aspects of events and training programs (Virtual, Hybrid and Classroom-Based), including scheduling, materials preparation venue selection, room set-up, audiovisual arrangements, transportation, accommodations, and equipment. Manages participant registration, communication, and coordination for training programs.

Content Development and Training Delivery Applies a wide range of advanced Adult Learning principles, concepts, and practices to administer and manage a full spectrum of legal based programs. Advises instructor cadres through the project planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of training courses for core legal and management programs.

Learning Management Systems Administration Provides technical support to users, troubleshoots issues, and ensures user records are updated. Uploads, organizes, and maintains course content, including, text, multimedia, and exams, and assessments. Vendor Management Collaborates with external providers to identify scope of service, negotiate appropriate price packages and manage relationships to ensure quality training resources align with stakeholder training needs.
