NONAPPROPRIATED FUND POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Asset Protection Associate BUSINESS TITLE: Identification Checker JOB SERIES: 0085 PAY LEVEL: NF-01 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Requests and verifies identification. Enforces rules and regulations. Circulates among patrons to maintain order and to prevent damage to furnishings. Patrols and protects property and buildings. Safeguards supplies, equipment and other items contained in or around facility.
Reports fires, accidents, and any subsequent hazards, taking appropriate emergency action. Removes and disposes of all empty bottles, pitchers, etc. from tables that could pose safety hazards and cleans up spills and broken glass to prevent accidents and injury to both customers and staff. Maintains maximum security of assigned area by performing area security checks. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
