The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior illustrator responsible for the design and creation of a wide variety of original illustrative/graphic artwork using state of the art industry standard software and/or common art media.
1. Prepares original designs, layouts, and finished artwork of a complex nature for a wide variety of organizational, technical, and general support requirements. 2. Advises and provides guidance, assistance, and training to other illustrators, management, and customers. 3. Creates original artwork utilizing computer graphics software. 4. Keeps abreast of emerging technology and applications and researches and recommends technical solutions. 5.
Assists in carrying out the public affairs program and produces materials that support the commander's public affairs goals.
