THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1656P01 and is part of the 107TH ATKW, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
As a INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST (GS-0080-11), you will serve as Chief, Special Security Office. Administers the Special Security Office (SSO) and all SCI-associated security programs and measures. Provides detailed research and analysis on physical, computer, and personnel security. This position requires a comprehensive working knowledge of intelligence support operations, procedures, and practices.
If only using education to qualify for this position: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. or Combination of education and experience: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have combination of specialized experience and education beyond a four year degree in a related field. Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level (above Bachelor's Degree) in an accredited college or university. You must provide Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
