Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) for DAF enterprise-wide SAP technology initiatives including Special Access Programs Information Technology (SAP-IT) Lead Command efforts on behalf of AFMC/CC.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as primary advisor and subject matter expert on secure systems engineering, development, installation configuration, and troubleshooting. Leads, manages, directs, or is responsible for DAF enterprise-wide technology initiatives to include SAP-IT Lead Command efforts on behalf of AFMC/CC. Executes special IT projects dealing with far-reaching technical, budgetary, and policy issues.

Leads and/or participates in discussions, meetings, conferences, committees, and special IT projects. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings of conclusions, training sessions, consultation, and strategy sessions to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in programs/capabilities.
