The primary purpose of this position is: To provide development, implementation, and successful execution of all policy and guidance related to Information Technology strategic planning, business planning, execution planning, funding, budget preparation, requirement processing, reimbursements, project management, contract management, manpower, POM preparation & submission
Key Responsibilities
Oversees information technology architectural goals in support of the USAFE-AFAFRICA's broad mission requirements. Serves as an IT specialist, analyst, and consultant for communications and information initiatives. Coordinates with program and project managers across the MAJCOM and within other organizations and agencies in developing, operating, and modifying policies to ensure local application meets mission/project requirements.
Determines requirements and recognizes and analyzing trends and providing instruction and orientation services. Manages mission knowledge, information, and situational awareness processes for internal and external organizations.
