Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as technical advisor to local and command installation information technology (IT) users in the area of policy and plans as related to IT systems.

Major Duties

Analyzes requirements and establishes plans of action for improving IT applications and weapon system integration. Performs as plans and policy advisor to functional users of information technology. Develops and interprets policy for administering IT systems. Assists with contracting functions and budget preparation. Attends meetings and presents briefings. Participates in discussions, meetings. conferences. committees or special projects. Analyzes areas of concern.
