Air Reserve Technicians are full-time civilian employees who are also members of the Air Force Reserve unit in which they are employed. In addition to their civilian assignments, they are assigned to equivalent positions in the Reserve organization with a Reserve military rank or grade.
Appointee's civilian assignments will consist of the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) officer is directly responsible to the Unit Commander to manager the Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP) for the wing/group. DUTIES: Manages the Unit Effectiveness Inspection Program. Oversees, plans and executes Unit Effectiveness Inspection program. Plans, schedules, and executes inspections and exercises. Leads/trains/manages Wing Inspection Team (WIT).
Attends meeting, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, advanced technologies and support system concepts. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities less than 25% of the time (for positions with less than 5 full-time subordinates).
